BLACKHAWK LAKE RECREATION AREA RULES & REGULATIONS
ALL VISITORS TO BLACKHAWK LAKE MUST ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING RULES:
  • ALL CAMPING WASTE WATER (WHICH INCLUDES GRAY WATER) MUST BE DISPOSED OF WITHIN THE DESIGNATED PARK DISPOSAL STATION.

  • HUNTING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE PARK. HUNTING IS PERMITTED IN THE DESIGNATED WILDLIFE AREAS ONLY DURING OPEN SEASONS. HUNTING MAP

  • ALL VEHICLES IN THE PARK MUST HAVE A CURRENT ANNUAL PARK STICKER, A WEEKEND PASS, OR DAILY PASS PLACED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE ASSIGNED VEHICLE'S WINDSHIELD. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • ALL CAMPERS AND VISITORS MUST REGISTER AT THE PARK OFFICE UPON ARRIVAL.

  • QUIET HOURS IN THE PARK ARE FROM 11:00 PM TO 8:00 AM. CAMPERS OR VISITORS WHO REFUSE TO COOPERATE WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE - NO REFUNDS! NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO ROAM THE PARK DURING QUIET HOURS.

  • A MAXIMUM OF 6 PEOPLE OVER 6 YEARS OLD PER CAMP SITE IS ALLOWED. THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $2.00 PER PERSON/PER NIGHT ON CAMPSITES HAVING OVER 6 PEOPLE.

  • ONE CAMPER UNIT IS ALLOWED PER SITE (2 CAMPER UNITS MAY BE PUT ON A "DOUBLE SITE" IF THE ADDITIONAL FEE IS PAID; THIS ALSO ALLOWS THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ON THE SITE TO BE 12).

  • TO PROTECT WISCONSIN'S PARKS AND FORESTS FROM FIREWOOD HITCHHIKERS (SUCH AS THE GYPSY MOTH, OAK WILT, AND EMERALD ASH BORER TO NAME A FEW), THE WISCONSIN DNR HAS A PERMANENT RULE WHICH PROHIBITS BRINGING FIREWOOD FROM MORE THAN 10 MILES AWAY OR FROM OUTSIDE OF WISCONSIN. FIREWOOD IS FOR SALE AT THE PARK OFFICE.

  • ALL CAMPERS AND GUESTS IN THE PARK MUST PUT ALL GARBAGE IN THE DUMPSTERS PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE PARK. THERE IS NO CURB-SIDE GARBAGE PICKUP. LEAVING GARBAGE, BOTTLES, OR CANS IN THE FIRE PITS IS SUBJECT TO A LITTERING FINE. PLEASE HELP US KEEP THE PARK CLEAN.

  • DAMAGE TO ANY PROPERTY WILL RESULT IN PROSECUTION.

  • THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY - SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK!

  • ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ARE ALLOWED ON THE BEACH, ALTHOUGH THEY ARE PERMITTED IN ALL OTHER AREAS OF THE PARK. OWNERS MUST KEEP PETS ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES. IT IS THE OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CLEAN UP AFTER HIS/HER PET.

  • ALL BOATERS MUST FOLLOW THE NO WAKE RULE AND ABIDE BY ALL WISCONSIN BOATING REGULATIONS.

  • A WISCONSIN FISHING OR HUNTING LICENSE IS REQUIRED FOR INDIVIDUALS PLANNING TO TAKE PART IN THESE ACTIVITIES. PLEASE SEE CURRENT REGULATIONS AT THE WISCONSIN DNR WEBSITE.
