BLACKHAWK LAKE RECREATION AREA CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservations must be paid in full at the time the reservation is made.

If a site or rental unit reservation is canceled 5 or more days in advance, a camp credit will be issued, but with forfeit of the reservation fee. We cannot issue refunds, only camp credit. The issued credit will be valid for the current camping season and following camping season. The credit will expire if not used within that given time period, unless arrangements are made with management to extend the credit period.

If a cancellation is not requested five days in advance, the entire deposit for the reservation will be forfeited.

If a cancellation is not requested or there is not a previous notification of a late arrival, the reserved campsite or rental unit will be made available for general use at 10:00 am on the day following the date the site was to be initially occupied. The date of initial occupation shall be based on the beginning date as shown on the campsite reservation.

In certain weather conditions; such as lightning or hail, we may ask that our rental boats be returned to the shore. In this case, the boat renters may inquire about a partial credit for the rental period (or a full credit if the rental unit cannot be allowed on the water at all).

Note: Reservations that are made less than 5 days in advance are not subject to any credit issue if cancelled.
